Christmas in the Entryway

I finished my Christmas vignette in the entryway. I always tell my friends to use the back door but now I'm going to want some front door guests for the Holiday season. I added the temporary fabric wallpaper and now some fabulous red accents to inject some personality!

For a little sparkle, I added some coarse glitter by Martha Stewart and a vintage silver reindeer to the pine cone wreath.

I've had the red chair for several years. I could never quite decide what to do with it. I loved the pattern of the back because it reminds me of Chinese Chippendale. It used to plain white with the white vinyl seat. As soon as the idea for the green fabric background came to me, I knew exactly what the chair should look like. The Christmas plaid taffeta that I covered it with is one of my favorites!

I used a red lamp from another room, some vintage ornaments and a trophy with a poinsettia to add some more pops of red.

I'm loving this new look for the Holidays!

Christmas, my child, is love in action. Every time we love, every time we give, it's Christmas.

Do you use traditional Holiday green and red to decorate or some other combination?
