Share the Love

The internet is an amazing thing. It can connect you to people you've never met or allow you to connect with those you love and don't get to see enough. Today  there are two people that I want to congratulate as they were both chosen to have their products featured in this month's issue of Country Living magazine which hits news stands tomorrow. Like me, they both attended the same, Pitch Your Product event, sponsored by Country Living in Atlanta last year.
You've heard me mention, Shelly at Confetti Style before because she highlighted the burlap footstool I made for my screen porch. Well, today I get to brag on her a bit. Shelly creates all kinds of wonderful treasures for her shop but it was her jewelry that caught the attention of Country Living. She repurposes drawer pulls and other unique vintage items and combines them with vintage jewelry to create one of a kind necklaces. Here's a couple of my  favorites from her shop:

Shelly is an interior designer in Atlanta, Georgia and this time of year she decorates her clients' homes for the holidays. You're going to want to subscribe to her blog just for the inspiration. She loves to wrap presents and does so amazingly so she also was chosen as one of 8 finalists in the Scotch Brand Most Gifted Wrapper Contest and will be competing in New York at the end of November for a $10,000 prize!

Last week she sent me a wonderful gift of some plaid wrapping paper and a cute vintage wooden box to store all my ideas and inspiration. See? We've never met but she gets me! Thanks Shelly!
Remember when I shared my Country Living experience with you? I met fellow pitcher, Pattie Page, who was showing her amazing carmel pecan pie. That pie was so darn good; I knew they'd pick her! She also will be featured and has an Etsy shop called Page's Perfect Pies.

So show these wonderful ladies some downhome love and visit their Etsy shops or blog this holiday season. Also, I will be a contributing blogger to the Decorating on a Dime series at the Tag Sell It blog on Second Hand Social. I'll share more about it soon.

Be courteous to all, but intimate with few, and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence.

I am so proud of Shelly and so love her creative
Style. Her jewelry is just one of her many
Creative avenues. I'm sure she will do wonderfully
At the Scotch gift wrap competition.
