Winter Whites
I'm doing a little informal market research with this post. Want to help? As you know I've been selling plaid antler sets for the holiday season in my Etsy shop I was blessed to sell over 40 sets in less than 2 months which was quite a lot for my little production line--i.e.--me at my kitchen table. So I decided to ride the antler train into winter with a couple sets for a Winter White Collection as an experiment to see if they keep selling.

I covered this one with an Irish sweater...

And this little guy with some felted wool in brown...

I'd love to hear from you! Do you think antlers are seasonal? Would you decorate with them in the summer? Would you decorate with them at all? If you had plaid antlers would you only use them during the holidays or all the time? Send any thoughts you have my way....I'd really appreciate it!

If we knew what it was we were doing; it would not be called research, would it?

Love these! Especially the felted brown! I would love to have a little cabin in the woods one day... I think they would be great all year long!

Thanks for the reminder, Debra. The Marketplace at Common Ground is such a great way for Etsy sellers to showcase their shops. I really appreciate you sponsoring it! http://www.commonground-do.com/2012/12/the-marketplace-happy-new-year.html

love love LOVE! yes, do them with new materials. I don't think they're seasonal, even with plaid. Timeless. I'd have them up all year but love the idea of neutral colors to makes it less 'holiday' feel for some people. get crackin' on the assembly line!
